HOW TO RECEIVE ANSWERS TO YOUR PRAYERS

Seeing your answered prayer manifest physically is a thing of joy. And God wants our joy to be full.

John16:24  Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.

Your happiness makes God happy. So does your progress and prosperity.

When we are confident we have prayed the will of God, we are confident that we have received the answer and we are still not seeing a physical manifestation, we need to begin to deal with the things within our jurisdiction.

Where is the jurisdiction of man? It is simple. Let us look here:

Psalm 115:16  The heaven, even the heavens, are the LORD’S: but the earth hath he given to the children of men.

The earth is the jurisdiction of man. It means we must take authority over happenings here.

It is wrong to leave the affairs of the earth to God who thought it wise to give it to us

SHIRKING RESPONSIBILITY

Many believers have shirked their responsibility on earth. They have left everything to God, when that has never been the plan of God concerning the earth.

Even the original plan of God was for man to dominate and rule the earth.

He reiterated it in the book of Psalms but He mentioned it first in the book of Genesis:

Gen 1:26  And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

Ours was a dominion mandate. We are supposed to have dominion here on earth.

When it comes to prayer, it means we must deal with every opposition to the physical or earthly manifestation of our answers.

When God gave us the keys of the Kingdom, he was clear in His mind when He said:

Matthew 18:18 Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

The message here is clear, the heavens back what we do here on earth. When we bind, it is bound. When we loose, it is loosed.

This shows the authority we have in the earth realm.

Many of us have slept on this responsibility. Some are not even aware that the heavens are depending on us to move. To take authority on earth.

I see you loose the answers to your prayer right now in the name of Jesus. I see you give them permission to manifest, In Jesus name.

The born-again man has control over the happenings on earth. It is up to us to take that authority and use it properly.

Let us delve into the dynamics of our authority and what it has to do with receiving answered prayer.

PETER’S CASE

Peter encountered the case of a dead woman.

He prayed for the woman and received the answer but the woman did not rise. What he did next was significant. He took authority over the situation. After all, he was on earth, his place of jurisdiction.

Let us read the story and see what he did.

Act 9:36  Now there was at Joppa a certain disciple named Tabitha, which by interpretation is called Dorcas: this woman was full of good works and almsdeeds which she did.

Act 9:37  And it came to pass in those days, that she was sick, and died: whom when they had washed, they laid her in an upper chamber.

Act 9:38  And forasmuch as Lydda was nigh to Joppa, and the disciples had heard that Peter was there, they sent unto him two men, desiring him that he would not delay to come to them.

Act 9:39  Then Peter arose and went with them. When he was come, they brought him into the upper chamber: and all the widows stood by him weeping, and shewing the coats and garments which Dorcas made, while she was with them.

Act 9:40  But Peter put them all forth, and kneeled down, and prayed; and turning him to the body said, Tabitha, arise. And she opened her eyes: and when she saw Peter, she sat up.

After Peter prayed, he took authority by asking the woman to arise.

She arose.

This confirmed that.

Matthew 18:18 Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

After prayer, do you take authority?

It is something worth considering. Let us delve deeper into more scriptures.

Before that, see exactly what Peter did again,

Act 9:40  But Peter put them all forth, and kneeled down, and prayed; and turning him to the body said, Tabitha, arise. And she opened her eyes: and when she saw Peter, she sat up.
